Frank Vincent Memorabilia to be Housed at 鶹ƵState University

Several pieces of memorabilia chronicling Coach Frank Vincent’s career were donated to 鶹ƵState University by two of his former Charleston High School players. In addition to being a star lineman at 鶹ƵState in the early 1950s, Vincent was a record-setting head coach at Charleston High and he served as head coach at 鶹Ƶfrom 1980-86.

It is with great sadness that 鶹ƵState University observes the passing of Hershel “Woody” Williams, the last living Medal of Honor recipient from World War II. Williams was a major proponent of 鶹ƵState’s West Virginia Veterans’ Legacy Project that took place in 2012.
