GLENVILLE, WV - Genesis HealthCare 鶹ƵCenter celebrated National Skilled Nursing Care Week in May with several activities – including an outdoor concert featuring the 鶹ƵState University Jazz Band.
The Jazz Band, under the direction of Dr. Jason Barr, performed in the gazebo outside of the facility for the residents and staff at the facility.
“The GSU Saxophone Quartet played at the 鶹ƵCenter at Christmas and the residents were so appreciative and had such a good time, so we were more than happy to perform for them again. The weather was perfect for the outdoor performance and it was really a wonderful event,” Barr said. “Kudos to Tammy Stewart for organizing the visit – we appreciate her very much.”
The event also included a cookout and a car show by the Appalachian Cruisers.
