鶹ƵState University will celebrate its annual 鶹Ƶcoming during the week of October 9, culminating on Saturday, October 14. A number of events are planned throughout the week for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends. Everyone is encouraged to make plans to come back to Glenville.

鶹ƵState University is thrilled to introduce Kyla Lovejoy as the new Pioneer Mascot, embodying the spirit, energy, and pride of the university's vibrant community.  Selected after an extensive and competitive search process, Kyla Lovejoy, a native of Chloe, West Virginia, emerged as the perfect embodiment of the university's values and traditions. With a strong commitment to representing 鶹ƵState University with enthusiasm, Kyla is poised to become an exceptional ambassador for the university, both on and off the field.

鶹ƵState University Board of Governors met in retreat on Tuesday and Wednesday to kick off the academic school year.  As 鶹ƵState University prepares to embark on another year of academic excellence and community engagement, the Board of Governors' meeting focused on key discussions, decisions, and strategies.
鶹ƵState University Invites Community to Help Welcome Incoming Students
As 鶹ƵState University (GSU) prepares to welcome new students to campus for the 2023-2024 academic year, the students will be participating in a week-long orientation to help them become acquainted with the school and the community before classes begin on Monday, August 14.
