Annual Literary Magazine Open for Submissions
The Trillium, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState College’s literary and arts journal, is open for submissions for the 2017 issue. All GSC students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members are invited to submit visual art, poetry, fiction, song lyrics, and other forms of creative expression.
Oktoberfest Premium Night Scheduled for October 27
The public is invited to Mollohan’s Restaurant at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState College on Thursday, October 27 from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m. for GSC’s Oktoberfest Premium Night.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState College's 2016 Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµcoming Court Coronation took place at noon on Monday, October 17 in the campus amphitheater. Kellie Kinsinger and Brod Boswell were crowned queen and king.
Chi Beta Phi Members Participate in National Conference
On Saturday, October 1, 2016, eleven members of the Alpha Iota Chapter of Chi Beta Phi and two other members of the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState College community attended the 69th National Conference of Chi Beta Phi. The conference was hosted by the Zeta Chapter of the organization at the Eshelman Science Center on the Davis & Elkins College campus in Elkins, West Virginia.
GSC Land Resources Department Hosting Presentations
Gary Kent, Director of Surveying at The Schneider Corporation will visit Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState College to give presentations on Wednesday, October 12 at 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. in Waco Center room 227/228.
Peace Corps Presentation at GSC
Jamie Salabogi, a regional recruiter for the Peace Corps will visit Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState College for a presentation on Thursday, October 6 at 12:30 p.m. in the Heflin Administration Building Presidents Auditorium.
