鶹ƵState Announces Finalists for Presidential Search
Presidential search finalists who were previously scheduled to visit campus on March 25, 26, and 27 are now tentatively delaying those visits until April 22, 23, and 24 due to issues related to Coronavirus.
GSC and U.S. Forest Service Partner to Offer Internships
The 鶹ƵState College Department of Land Resources, the GSC Foundation, and the United States Forest Service (USFS) have partnered to offer internship opportunities for students within the Natural Resource Management program. An agreement was signed between the institutions to formalize this year’s initiative.
Annual Percussion Ensemble Tickets on sale March 2
Tickets for the 40th annual 鶹ƵState College Percussion Ensemble will go on sale on Monday, March 2 at 8:00 a.m. Concerts will be held on Thursday, April 2 and Friday, April 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the GSC Fine Arts Center Auditorium.
Spring Open House Planned at GSC
鶹ƵState College invites future Pioneers to attend the upcoming Spring Open House on Saturday, March 28 beginning at 10:00 a.m. on the GSC campus.
Third Annual Trillium Art Show is February 18-28
The 鶹ƵState College Department of Language and Literature and the Department of Fine Arts will be hosting the 3rd Annual Trillium Art Show. Artwork from contributors to the forthcoming 2020 issue of the Trillium will be on display in the Fine Arts Center Gallery from February 18 to February 28.
Teacher Interns Participate in YMHFA Training
Teacher interns within the Department of Education at 鶹ƵState College recently participated in Youth Mental Health First Aid training. The training is designed to teach how to help adolescents who are experiencing challenges with mental health or addiction.
Wildlife Management Major Coming to GSC
The 鶹ƵState College Department of Land Resources will offer a Wildlife Management major within their Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management Program beginning fall 2020.
