Representatives from �鶹��ƵState University and the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine met recently to welcome �鶹��ƵState as a partner in the Pre-Osteopathic Medicine Program at WVSOM.

�鶹��ƵState Day at the Legislature Sees University Status Bill Approved

On Tuesday, February 22, �鶹��ƵState College students, staff, and faculty gathered at the West Virginia State Capitol for �鶹��ƵState Day at the Legislature. By the time they departed the statehouse, the school had a new designation: �鶹��ƵState University.

On Saturday, February 19, �鶹��ƵState College saw two significate milestones reached: the 150th anniversary of the College’s founding and over $1.1 million raised for the annual Founders Day of Giving campaign. �鶹��ƵState College donors smashed previous records for the annual Founders Day of Giving fundraising campaign, raising over $1.1 million. The amount raised came from over 500 donors during the 2022 Day of Giving celebration on Founders Day, Saturday, February 19.

�鶹��ƵState College will be kicking off its sesquicentennial celebration this week, culminating with several Founders Day events on Saturday, February 19, the anniversary date of the College’s founding 150 years ago.

A special Premium Night dinner will be held on Thursday, February 17 in Mollohan's Restaurant.
