Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState College Observes Sexual Assault Awareness Month
Students and administrators at GSC teamed up during the month of April to raise awareness about the issue of sexual assault. Members of GSC's Army ROTC program, students in GSC's Sigma Pi Xi criminal justice organization, and various student athletes partnered with the college's Human Resources Department Director during Sexual Assault Awareness Month to conduct a host of events to inform and educate students.
Waco Center Public Open House April 26th
The public is invited to attend the open house of the new multi-million dollar Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState College Waco Center. Tours will be given on Saturday, April 26th from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. during GSC's Alumni Day.
Premium Night and Easter Brunch Scheduled at GSC
The staff at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState College's Mollohan's Restaurant are preparing to host two special meals. The public is invited to both April's Premium Night on Thursday, April 17th from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m. and the annual Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 20th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Labor History Expert Wess Harris to Speak at GSC
Labor history expert Wess Harris will give a free lecture at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState College on Tuesday, April 15th at 12:30 p.m. The presentation will take place in the GSC Heflin Administration Building Presidents Auditorium.
Annual GSC Literary Magazine Reading Slated
The reading will be held on Friday, April 11th at 4:00 p.m. in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Multipurpose Room (315A). The reading will give the writers, poets, and artists a chance to bring their works to life in a spoken-word format. It will also include an open microphone session.
Premium Night Scheduled for March 27th at GSC
The public is invited to Mollohan's Restaurant at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState College on Thursday, March 27th from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m. for March's Premium Night.
GSC Alumnus John Bird Receives Prestigious Forestry Achievement Award
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState College alumnus John Bird has received the Graduate Forestry Technician Achievement Award of the Council of Eastern Forestry Technician Schools. The presentation was recently made by GSC Land Resources Professor Emeritus Rick Sypolt.
