On Saturday, September 29, six Â鶹ÊÓƵState College alumni will be inducted into the Curtis Elam Athletic Hall of Fame, which was established in 2001 through the generosity of the late Curtis Elam, a 1949 graduate.

Winter Â鶹ÊÓƵcoming will Celebrate Black History Month at GSC

Â鶹ÊÓƵState College will celebrate Black History Month on Saturday, February 3 during Winter Â鶹ÊÓƵcoming when a proclamation will be unveiled and read that afternoon between the Women’s and Men’s Basketball games. Special honorees at this unveiling will be GSC’s black students from the 1960s and 70s who have come back to campus as individuals who paved the way for future black students at Â鶹ÊÓƵState. GSC’s Inaugural Hall of Famer Bob Minnieweather ‘67, a phenomenal student athlete, will be memorialized at this event.

IOGA Basketball Tournament Returns to GSC December 11-16

The Waco Center at Â鶹ÊÓƵState College will be the site of a boy’s and girl’s six-day high school basketball tournament this December. The Independent Oil & Gas Association (IOGA) Classic tournament is being hosted at GSC, Monday, December 11 through Saturday, December 16.
