Five Inducted into Hall of Fame at GSC

 Five individuals were inducted into the Â鶹ÊÓƵState College Curtis Elam Athletic Hall of Fame during the college's annual Hall of Fame banquet and induction ceremony on Saturday, May 31st. The 2014 inductees were: Bob Turner, Keith Pritt '58, Fred Taylor '60, Charles "Bernie" Buttrey '76, and Kent Pilant '97.
Three Honored as Emeriti Faculty at GSC

 Three Â鶹ÊÓƵState College professors were recognized recently as emeriti faculty; joining 32 other GSC professors who share the title. The honors were bestowed upon Dr. Kathy Butler, Dr. Sherry Jones, and Dr. Michael Smith at the 140th Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
Fifty Students Named GSC Honor Graduates

 Fifty members of Â鶹ÊÓƵState College's Class of 2014 have been recognized as honor graduates. The students received their honor stoles at the annual Honor Graduates Reception held on May 8th in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom.

Four GSC Cadets Receive Army Commissions

 On Friday, May 9th four Â鶹ÊÓƵState College Army ROTC students, also members of the WVSU based 'Yellow Jacket Battalion,' were commissioned as United States Army Second Lieutenants during a ceremony held at the state capitol in Charleston.
GSC Class of 2014 Receives Their Diplomas; Rust Delivers Keynote Address

 The Â鶹ÊÓƵState College Class of 2014 includes graduates who completed requirements for an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a variety of academic areas including business, criminal justice, teacher education, and natural resource management among others. The GSC Class of 2014 is made up of more than 220 students who completed their degree requirements in July 2013, December 2013, and May 2014.
Waco Center Public Open House April 26th

 The public is invited to attend the open house of the new multi-million dollar Â鶹ÊÓƵState College Waco Center. Tours will be given on Saturday, April 26th from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. during GSC's Alumni Day.
