Fall 2023 Provost and President's List Announced
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState University (GSU) has announced the names of GSU students who attained the President’s Honor List and the Provost’s Honor List for the Fall 2023 semester. To be named to the President’s Honor List, a student must have a 4.0 grade point average. To be named to the Provost’s Honor List, a student must have at least a 3.5 grade point average. 
Trillium Art Show Shines a Spotlight on Creative Expression at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState University
The vibrant creativity of the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState University community will take center stage on Monday, February 12, as the Trillium Art Show opens in the campus Fine Arts Center Gallery. This eagerly anticipated event will showcase a diverse collection of visual art, celebrating the unique talents of students, faculty, and members of the local community. 
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState University’s Annual Day of Giving is February 19 
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState University faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends are preparing for the 152nd anniversary of the institution, which will be recognized throughout February. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState’s Founders Day is Monday, February 19, which coincides with the annual Founders Day of Giving campaign. The giving campaign focuses on raising money for areas of need on campus such as academics, athletics, scholarships, campus improvements, and more. 
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState University Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble to Showcase Talent at the 2024 United States Army Band "Pershing's Own" Tuba and Euphonium Workshop 
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState University is pleased to announce that its Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble has been invited to perform at the prestigious 2024 United States Army Band "Pershing's Own" Tuba and Euphonium Workshop in Washington, D.C. This event, hosted by the top US Army Band, is a significant opportunity for the ensemble to showcase their musical prowess on a national stage. 
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState University attends the 2024 NCAA Convention in Phoenix  
The 2024 NCAA Convention, held in Phoenix, marked a triumphant conclusion on Saturday, January 13th as 3,000 dedicated members from all three divisions enthusiastically returned to their respective campus and conference offices. The week-long event highlighted a vibrant exchange of ideas, recognition through awards, comprehensive governance discussions, and enlightening education sessions. 
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState University receives Grant to Increase Awareness for Natural Resource Managment Program
Dr. Rico M. Gazal, Professor in the Department of Land Resources at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState University (GSU), has spearheaded a groundbreaking initiative aimed at revolutionizing the recruitment and retention efforts within the university's esteemed Natural Resource Management program. This initiative included receiving a $25,000 grant to continue practices. 
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµState University Professor presents at International Conference 
The Philippine Forestry Education Network (PFEN), Inc., a distinguished non-stock and non-profit organization comprising accredited forestry schools in the Philippines, proudly announced its inaugural International Conference this past October 25-27, 2023. Themed "Engaging the Academe to Lead in the Revitalization of the Wood and Wood-based Industries for Economic Recovery," the event took place at the University of Mindanao, Davao City.
